What is PTE?

Pearson test of English or PTE test evaluates students’ excellence in English. The PTE test is required for students seeking admission and individuals migrating across the globe. PTE is mainly accepted by Australian government and New Zealand governments for visa purpose

PTE Facts

  • The applicant must be above 16 years or age and have a valid travel document (passport).
  • PTE exam is held throughout the year at the respective centres
  • PTE score is valid for up to 2 years

Exam Pattern/Sections for PTE Academic

Listening (Duration 45 -57 minutes)

Listening section comprises pre-recorded audio and questions based on the audio. Students need to listen to the audio carefully and answer accordingly.

Reading (Duration 32-40 minutes)

The reading section consists of paragraphs and questions are related to the given paragraphs to evaluate the students reading and understanding ability.

Speaking & Writing (Duration 77-90 minutes)

The Speaking section is to examine the ability of speaking English fluently and effortlessly in an academic environment. The Writing section examines the expression of ideas and thought through writing without grammar and spelling errors.
